Family House M, Záhorské Sady

A single-storey family house on a gently sloping plot in the Záhorské Sady locality. The connection of interior and exterior – but not at the cost of huge glazed areas – with an emphasis on user comfort and optimization of heat gains/losses. Shading is provided by external roller blinds and covered terraces with timber structures. The southern terrace cantilevers over a natural pond with fish; the northern terrace by the house entrance includes an outdoor kitchen. The visual connection of these two main living zones is clearly reflected in the floor plan and the massing of the house.
