Studio
OFFICE110 was founded in 2006 by Richard Kastel, Peter Kopecký and Martin Hörmann. We focus on considered concepts built on the relationship between the local setting, the way a building works and what the client asks of it.
About the studio
We have won and built a number of architectural competitions: the Záhorské sady residential zone in Záhorská Bystrica, the Zelené terasy residential zone in Devín, and the Smrek apartment building at Štrbské Pleso.
The row houses in Záhorské Sady were nominated for CE·ZA·AR 2015 and won Baumit Facade of the Year 2015, the main prize in the family house category. The Karloveské Rameno boathouse was nominated for CE·ZA·AR 2020, the ARCH Magazine Award 2020 and the Dušan Jurkovič Award 2020.
